Peinture Email Le Pacific printed by Charles Verneau, original French stone lithograph poster printed circa 1910 advertising paint. A- condition. Recently restored and mounted on archival line. Depicts a navy ship and landing craft with sailors taking a canister of Pacific paint to shore against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and the rising son. Stunning use of colors-notably blues, yellows, and orange. Gorgeous image and vibrant colors. We have another copy of this poster in our personal collection and love how our guests marvel at it. Interesting movie trivia: this poster can be seen in the 1992 film, the Hand that Rocks the Cradle starring Rebecca De Mornay. The poster can be seen in several living room shots.
