Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1987) original one sheet Italian movie poster. Ferris Bueller's Day Off is an iconic 1980s movie featuring Matthew Broderick as a high school student who skips school with his best friend and his girl friend. The trio venture all over Chicago taking in a visit to the Sear's Tower (now the Willis Tower), Art Institute of Chicago, a Cubs game, and a parade while being chased by his arch nemesis, the evil principal Ed Rooney. In 1987, the studio primarily advertised the film utilizing a photograph of Ferris wearing a leather jacket lying down with his hands behind his head. When the movie became a hit, the international version of the poster along with the Italian and French variations utilized an extraordinarily vivid and colorful graphic of Ferris and his friends riding along the highway in their 1961 Ferrari. This is an original Italian one sheet theatrical use poster from the 1st release.
The poster was recently linen backed using the best linen available on the market. Minor and unobtrusive bleed at time of printing on outer borders (outside of image). No folds. We love this movie! SAVE FERRIS!
